I was 18 years old when I first picked up the camera. It was 1993 and I was traveling to Ireland. It was during this trip that I became very interested in photography.
Following high school graduation, I decided to take a basic photography course in college. This led me to a freelance job with the local newspaper. Five years later, I decided to become a professional photographer.
I attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia. Here, I learned all types of photography; editorial, commercial, portraits, photojournalism, still-life, architectural, and more! I graduated in 2002 with a degree in "Specialized Technology-Photography". At my graduation I received an award for "Outstanding Achievement".
After graduation, I became involved in many different opportunities
involving architectural photography, photojournalism and portraits.
I also worked as a photographer's assistant, lab technician, and also worked quite frequently with photo restorations. I have allot experience with the computer software program Photoshop which I learned through my college years and still keeping up to date with the software program. I am constantly taking class online to improve my skills as a photographer and I also take workshops from the National Association Photoshop Professionals.
Presently, I enjoy all aspects of photography. My photographs have been displayed in galleries, newspapers, art shows, fire department critiques, and many other places. The services that I provide include, photo restorations (and in some cases photo Resurrections), private photography sessions, private parties, business events, portraits, emergency service training drills, and anywhere that I can shoot a camera.
I mostly specialize in nature photography and fine art photography
